So what's the wind doing?

Look no further, knots.co.za is a web site dedicated to answering this question anytime, anywhere, free of charge and with no strings attached.
It does not matter if you are using a cell phone, pocket PC, laptop or simply browsing from your desktop. If it has internet access your question will be answered.

At the moment we have one location providing us with wind speed readings, but we hope to add many more locations in the near future.
Centrally located between Sunset Beach and the very popular Big Bay, the station at the Milnerton Aquatic club (MAC) will give you a good indication of what the wind is doing on the Northern side of the Cape Peninsula.

The knots.co.za site and service was developed by Euan Mapham and Hough van Wyk. Special thanks to Douglas Doo who donated a PC to upload the wind speed readings to the internet. Thanks to the MAC commodore, Ken Keith, who kindly allowed us to use the club's weather station and provide this service.

I would also like to thank all our friends who helped motivating us. If you have any ideas and feedback please feel free to visit our forum and post your suggestions there.
